How to Install an Electric Floor Heating Kit.

In this post we are going to demonstrate how easy it is to install the dPP electric heat mat.

How to program the Honeywell CM907

As you can see the heat mat is made up of a white mesh and a blue cable. The white mat helps space the wire evenly and is slightly adhesive making it very easy to lay. As you can see in this example you can see that when we reach a wall we simply cut the white positioning mesh and flip over the roll.

We continue to lay giving a continuous circuit of blue heat mat.

We highly recommend using scissors to prevent you from accidentally cutting the blue heat wire.

Next you need to insert the floor temperature sensor. It should be placed between two blue heat wires and not cross the heat wire.

Finally we connect the test alarm. If a blue wire is damaged during installation the alarm will sound. The alarm ensures that you are not tiling over a useless heat mat.

The touch screen thermostat that is provided is available in black or white. And is very easy to use.
